Elodie Kimmel

Elodie began her vocal studies at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Genève, studying with Gilles Cachemaille.
While studying in Geneva she has sung the roles Diane in Acteon by Charpentier and Cupidon in Orphee aux Enfers by Offenbach. She has also performed the title role in Orfeo by Luigi Rossi directed by Gabriel Garrido and sang the solo part in Stabat Mater by Scarlatti, and the Monteverdi Magnificat with the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne in the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu. She regularly sings solo recitals in France and Switzerland festivals with Le Petit Ensemble (Baroque Cantatas).
In London, she has sung in the Handel House, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Gallery, has performed the one-per-part version of the B minor mass during the Bachfest under Adrian Butterfield, the Mozart Requiem under Clive Fairbain, the Bach Coffee Cantata with the Concertante of London in the Conway Hall-London and the role of Amour in Pygmalion by Rameau with Adrian Butterfield.
