Frances Norbury
Frances Norbury read Music at St John’s College, Cambridge before taking up a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. She then spent two years on the Advanced Studies Programme at the Abbaye aux Dames, Saintes, and has since been working freelance, for, among others, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, The Gabrieli Consort, The King’s Consort, the European Brandenburg Ensemble and Florilegium. In 2004 she was awarded a grant by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust to spend a month travelling round Europe researching baroque dance.
