Lawrence Olsworth-Peter
Lawrence Olsworth-Peter is twenty-four years old and is currently studying singing at the Royal Academy of Music taught by Philip Doghan and Ian Leddingham. He has performed with Glyndebourne Youth Opera and NYO and in 2007 graduated in Theology from the University of Bristol, during which time he sang with Bristol University Chamber Choir and performed in many plays including Noel Coward’s Hay fever at the Bristol Old Vic. Since graduating he has been in demand on the concert stage performing Oratorio works and lunchtime recitals. Recent Oratorio includes: Bach St. John Passion with the New Sussex Singers for Tiger Arts; Bach Cantatas (Royal Academy of Music) and Mendelssohn Elijah. Opera includes Remendado in Carmen for Southwick Opera. Lawrence particularly enjoys performing Bel-Canto opera and English song by composers such as Frank Bridge.
