Lucy Forde
Having first studied modern and baroque flute at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Lucy went on to gain a Masters Degree with distinction in performance from the Royal Northern College of Music. On graduating, she was awarded the prestigious James Caird Travelling Scholarship, which enabled her to continue her music studies in Milan, Italy. It was during Lucy's time in Milan that she first discovered her love of making music with members of the wider community. When she returned to the UK, she decided to sharpen her skills as a creative artist and workshop leader by enrolling onto the Masters in Leadership programme at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Lucy now divides her time between performing in chamber ensembles and orchestras and leading music education projects.
