Osny Fonseca
Osny graduated as a harpsichordist and conductor at UNICAMP (Brazil) under Edmundo Hora and Henrique Gregori respectively. A multifaceted artist, Osny has developed his skills with tutors such as Christophe Rousset, Rude Van Strada, Jacques Ogg (harpsichord playing), Monica Ube, Jerome Correas, Jean-Paul Fouchécourt (singing), Ricardo Barros, Christine Bayle (Baroque dance), Julio Moretzsohn and Homero de Magalhães Filho (conducting). At the ‘Cacilda Becke Conservatoire’ (Pirassunung, Brazil), he acts as a conductor and also teaches classic ballet. He joined Mercurius in 2007 in a performance in celebration of Sallé at the Royal College of Music under Ricardo Barros and Ashley Solomon.
