document.write('<div>Ruth was born in the North East of England where she studied Classical Ballet for many years. While at university in Newcastle and Durham she developed a love of 17th and 18th century music, performance and literature. This led her to Baroque dance and in recent years she has worked under the guidance of Ricardo Barros, Madeleine Inglehearn and Mary Collins. Ruth is as a freelance botanical illustrator and natural history painter specialising in watercolour techniques on vellum and wood for instrument decoration.  An experienced teacher, Ruth works with children and adults teaching art, performing arts and English. </div>');
