Benefactor\'s annual sponsorship plans and benefits
Mercurius has launched a sponsorship plan for the season 2009-2010.
Benefits may include free tickets for concerts or even private recitals & concerts.
Plans are as follows:
Plan 1 Élève [£250 - £500]
Complimentary newsletter, acknowledgement on our concert programmes,
invitations to annual special supporters events.
Plan 2 Débutant [£600 - £1,000]
Complimentary newsletter, complimentary programmes when attending any concert,
acknowledgement on our newsletter and concert programmes, invitations to
annual special supporters events, one pair of tickets for any concert during annual season.
Plan 3 Corps du Ballet [£1,500 - £2,500]
As plan 2 Débutant, but with two pairs of tickets for one concert during annual season.
Plan 4 Pas de Deux [£3,000 - £5,000]
As plan 2 Débutant, but with three pairs of tickets for any concert during annual season.
Plan 5 Étoile [£5,500 - £7,500]
As plan 2 Débutant, but with four pairs of tickets for any concert during annual season,
plus an invitation to after-concert receptions with artists when attending concerts.
Plan 6 Chorégraphe [£8,000 - £12,000]
As plan 5 Étoile, plus one private recital performed by arrangement by small
ensemble (one to three musicians)* and special mentioning in all our publicity material.
Plan 7 Maitre-à-danser [£13,000 - £19,000]
As plan 5 Étoile, plus one private recital performed by arrangement by ensemble
(up to seven artists)* and special mentioning in all our publicity material.
Plan 8 Le Roi Soleil [£20,000 and above]
As plan 5 Étoile, plus two private recitals: one chamber music (up to 5 artists)
and one with dancing (up to 12 artists)
Plus a private harpsichord recital by Dr Ricardo Barros*
and special mentioning in all our publicity material.
In the occasion of Mercurius début at Cadogan Hall on 18 September 2009 performing 'Orpheus Britannicus - The dance of the Hearts' in celebration of Purcell's 350th anniversary, benefactors in plan 3 Corps du Ballet and above will be invited to a post-concert champagne reception.
Sponsorship covers a 12 month period, but sponsors joining us before August 2009 will have their benefits extended until the end of next season (August 2010). Corporate sponsors in plan 4 Pas de Deux and above will benefit from a full colour page advertising in our concert programmes throughout the sponsorship period.
Future concert plans for the season include:
~ a gala concert celebrating Pergolesi\'s 300th birth anniversary (1710-1736), including his Stabat Mater and Salve Regina;
~ a magnificent dance concert celebrating Campra's 350th birth anniversary (1660-1744) and the 300th anniversary of his Les fêtes vénitiennes (1710);
~ a gala Easter concert with Couperin's Leçons de Tenebrae and motets;
~ a French cantata programme featuring works by Campra, Clerambault and Monteclair;
~ a Spanish Escuela Bolera (early Flamenco) programme featuring early 19th-century dances and songs;

* Private recitals agreed by prior arrangement to suit benefactors and all artists, during the year of sponsorship. Benefactor is responsible for organising venue and any catering facilities, artists only providing the musical and/or dance performance.
